Mission Statement

The Tom Russell Charitable Foundation's mission is focused on the desire of the Founder, Thomas C. Russell, to "help people to help themselves," thereby assisting those in need of achieving their goals. The Foundation fulfills the mission by distributing funds through those publicy supported charitable agencies that are most effective in yielding a positive social benefit by helping people to help themselves.

In the process, the Foundation exercises responsible fiduciary stewardship to seek growth of its financial assets, enhancing the Foundation's ability to meet its mission through increased distributions, and supporting the Foundation's efforts to exist in perpetuity. The Foundation continually improves all aspects of its business, including management of operations, assets and charitable distributions and conducts its business in alignment with highest ethical and lawful standards.
